I love it. I use it for my iphone as well. I wish it would start automatically when the computer starts up though.

A cool little addition, for any pilot, to your laptop or desktop machine. Just add it to the startup items under your logon to have it start automatically every time your machine is turned on.

For what this app does at this point is great and well worth the $0.99! I love having my METARS scroll on my task bar, very nice idea! However, I would like to see this App grow into what I know and love on my iPhone. The lack of Maps & Charts, TAFs, NOTAMS and Terminal Procedures is really disappointing. If it can be done on iOS Im sure it could be done here, and better. I hope to see these features in future updates.

Very simple and sleek! I use it on my Mac and iPhones. To the review below: It can start automatically when your computer opens, you just have to set it to that option in the toolbar. Highly recommended!

Should add forecasts to applicable airports.

This app needs 2 principle fixes: 1. Reduce the clutter/space taken used in the menu bar; replace with a simple icon or airport identifier 2.Include TAFs If these are implimented then Id recommend it; until then it is too obtrusive and distracting to use.

This is a great simple app, but there are a couple fixes and improvements that could make it outstanding: - TAFs! - Translated information in the expanded view, not just the raw data. - The text appears "gritty" in the menu bar. It clears up when highlighted, but normally it is noticeably pixelated compared to the other text in the menu bar. Even with just the text fix, this would be a 5-star app.

So far fantastic! Being at school and constantly monitoring the weather, as well as quick checks to see what the conditions are like before I fly makes it a Breeze. My ONLY suggestion would able to get TAFs working in there as well with the stations that have TAFs. Fantastic product and well worth the 0.99 cents people!

i love this app, yet i wish it showed TAFs for all airports. also, there needs to be a centralized system for all the METAR info, like from the AWC from NOAA

I mistakenly assumed this app would provide similar functionality to the iPad/iPhone app. I use both the iPad and iPhone AirWx products and they are EXCELLENT and assumed I would be getting those features in addition to the menubar display. This product provides no more than exactly what it states, a menulet that cycles METARS of airports selected through a small area of the menubar. Can the features of the AirWX iPad product be added to this app? If so, I would give 5 stars...

• Add the temperature and dew point to title bar • Add the Barometric Pressure to the title bar • Add a leading zero (0) to the wind direction 050, 090…etc.

It used to work. Not anymore. It does not get data even after reinstalling the app. I also tried to contact support and no response. - After a few days of not working, it works again. Still heard nothing from the support.

I bought this hoping to monitor the weather at one airport near me. Unfortunately you must have a minimum of two airports shown in the menu bar, and it automatically cycles between the two of them. This is distracting while working, and means you have to monitor two airports at once, even if you are only interested in monitoring one. I do not know why they cant allow just showing one in the menu bar, and its basically unusuable for me because of the distraction of text moving on my screen. Additionally, you appear to need to quit and reload the app when changing the list of airports. The "Refresh" menu item doesnt seem to respond to the change in airport list.
